Theatre Review | CinderELLA The Musical – Nuffield Southampton Theatres

Hello all. Yes, that’s right, another theatre review, and this time it’s a festive one; and there’s a bit of a twist!

You’ll already know I review regional shows for Broadway World UK, but I’m very excited to share that I am also now reviewing shows for WhatOnStage, too!

My first piece was a review CinderELLA The Musical at Nuffield Southampton Theatres; a contemporary twist on a fairytale favourite.

Here’s a sneak preview:

“CinderELLA proves that romance and magic are ageless; the inclusion of a love story for elderly Ella as well as teenage Cinders is refreshing and heartwarming in a world that usually focuses on young love. Allusions to loneliness in the elderly, and mental health, add to the compassionate nature of the production.”

[It goes without saying that, since I reviewed the show for a theatre website, the ticket was gifted – just to clarify.]
