One of my favourite shows of last year is back in Southampton!
The Shadow Factory returns to Nuffield Southampton Theatres after its sell-out run in 2018, and I was lucky enough to be invited to watch it again as a reviewer.

It’s funny re-reviewing a show you’ve already reviewed, but this time the show had a new cast, and I was interested to see if it captivated my heart in the same way with these new faces.
I reviewed the show for Broadway World UK this time. Here’s a snippet:
“Whether audiences without a connection to Southampton or Hampshire would be able to appreciate the nuances to the local area that pepper the production is questionable. However, this is a story that, though specific, nods to the universal challenges faced at times of war; to sacrifice and loss and the value of family. This, and the stunning visuals of the show, is enough to captivate any audience.”
