Poem | Each Piece of Me

The lovely folks over at Dear Damsels don’t seem to have cottoned onto the fact that I’m only pretending to be a poet – fortunately for me, they don’t know that I have no idea what I’m doing.

Ha!

They’ve kindly published a poem I wrote for their February theme of Origins.

Each Piece of Me explores how we are a product of centuries of other people; the physical embodiment of those who came before us. If we changed, we would lose something truly unique and special.
