I miss stepping away from the screen, getting my hands messy, and thinking about what things look like, rather than sound like. So when local artist Bex Willis invited me along to experiment with a completely new (to me!) style of art at one of her Cyanotype Workshops, I couldn't RSVP quick enough!
This time of year brings out some intense feelings, and it's important for me to remind myself of the good, and focus less on the bad; to celebrate the haves, and ignore the have-nots.
At the end of last year I took an evening course titled ‘Poetry Essentials: Writing Free Verse’. It taught me a lot more than just about structure, sound, and style. I think it's about time I shared some of them with you (and reacquainted myself with them as well).
