Monthly Muses | March 2019
Yes, I know it’s hard to believe I’m posting something that isn’t a theatre review or a poem (#onbrand) but the time has come once again to share a few of my favourite things from the last month of my life.
Yes, I know it’s hard to believe I’m posting something that isn’t a theatre review or a poem (#onbrand) but the time has come once again to share a few of my favourite things from the last month of my life.
After a long old January, February was short and, admittedly, sweet. I was back in the theatre a few times, read a few books and went on a mini adventure in London.
I found a few new favourites along the way, so as usual, here’s a list to share and hopefully inspire.
Let’s have a look at what kept me going during the long, dark nights of January.
November is always my favourite month. Autumn has fully kicked in; we try to cope with the darkening nights by saying it’s ‘cosy’, and it’s my birthday month, which always nudges it to the top of any list
October was a manic month, with barely any time to write creatively due to plenty of theatre reviews and freelance projects….though I still managed to get a lot done too, somehow!
This is it; the evenings are longer, the jumpers are out, and I am well and truly embracing my extra inbuilt layers. Autumn is here; the most wonderful time of year. Where did September go?
The usual; books, films, and some truly stunning artwork. Here’s everything I enjoyed in August.
My latest edition of Monthly Muses is jam packed with articles, shows and creative sources that kept me busy over the last few weeks..
Take some time out from basking in the sunshine to hear about what I loved the most in June, including plenty of new things to read and watch.
May was the most manic month of my year so far…and also, somehow, my most successful! Read about the shows, articles and experiences that have been inspiring me recently, and why I’m eating my words when it comes to Netflix.
