Jo Fisher Writes turns three!

Yes, you read correctly. I’ve been blogging on here for three whole years!

This is my 199th post (the fact that it’s not a nice round 200 upsets me greatly…) and I am grateful for everything that writing on here has done for me.

Thanks to this blog, I’ve had the chance to start reviewing regional and national theatre, attend restaurant openings, visit local attractions and get my poetry out there. I’ve been able to practice my writing skills, share my experiences, and connect with some pretty wonderful people. Not bad for a hobby, huh?

Every time someone reads a post or shares a link, it means the world. I write for myself, of course, but it’s always amazing when you know that someone can relate to a piece you created.

So if you’ve ever clicked on a link to this site, liked a post, followed me on social, shared something I wrote, or even read or watched something based on one of my reviews…thank you so much!

I’ve been trying to work out how best to celebrate this mini-milestone, and how to show my gratitude. I am planning a little social media giveaway…but while I get that sorted, I have another little treat for you.

As I said, without this blog I wouldn’t get to see half of the amazing theatre productions that I do. Nuffield Southampton Theatres have been a huge part of that, and so they’ve kindly given me a discount code to share with you all as a thank you!

Just use JOFISHER20 to get 20% off any showing of One Man, Two Guvnors at Nuffield Southampton Theatres between 1-12 October 2019.

Thank you for reading my blog posts. Here’s to the next three years!
